The bike session in this month's 220

I rarely bother with the training sessions in the magazine, but I had a go on the turbo this morning at a bike on from this month's edition.
Warm up, the 30 mins of 30s very hard, 30s spinning recovery, Warm down.
My cycling's not bad but blimey that's hard work I managed 5 minutes of the above, then had to do five minutes recovery pace then another 5 minutes hard/easy alternating.
I'm going to persevere with this, to see how long it takes me before I can actually do the entire set...
