Smelly Helmet!!!

My bike helmet stinks!! Probably sounds like a stupid question but I've thrown the user manuel away. Does anybody know if the foam inserts are washable?? Is there anything good to use on the actual helmet that wont ruin it???

    Just chuck the inserfs away and buy some new ones. Cheap as chips

    the inserts are easily washed,use Biotex to get them odour free(soak overnight),and give the helmet a wipe with a disinfectant wipe to remove the sweat,the chinstrap,just needs a wipe after use to keep clean.

    Yeah, but even with frequent washes, after a while, you really to need to get new ones. I think its like shoes, once they start, they just get worse.
