hi i am fairly new to tri having done 2 sprints last year and have just done bala middle,at bala i was struck down with leg cramps i have never known before,i felt a slight tightning in one calf on the swim and only 4 miles into the bike my calfs locked up after stretching i got going but on the hills at the end of the bke even my quads were cramping suffice to say the run was a struggle,i had trained quite hard doing hilly bikes after swim sessions and bke to run bricks with no probs, i think i was well hydrated i have been using sr3 from allsports i dont think it was fatigue as it was at the start of the bike any suggestions would be most appreciated cheers craig
