To club or not?

Spent all year training solo, ended in IM Wales in 11.58. I've got a big case off the off season blues, so thinking of joining a club to help me stay motivated and focused over the close season. Problem is.... Clubs where I am based (in the Scottish borders) not really suitable. any thoughts on on- line clubs

    tritalk.co.uk has a quasi-club feel to it, and you can (AIUI) race under the tritalk.co.uk banner including time trials I think. Not sure about road races cos its just a mess to organise AIUI.

    Where abouts in Scottish Borders are you?

    Not many clubs in this area so tend to travel or train with cyclists and runners.
