Tri shorts or trisuit??

Hi
I have entered my first triathlon (200 m swim (indoor pool)/10 mile bikeride/5 k run) which takes place in June and I am not sure if I should buy just some tri shorts or go for the trisuit? What are the pro and cons of either?
Can anyone recommend a good ‘budget’ brand and a good on-line shop?

I have their trisuit which is very good. I would suggest shorts if you are a beginner though. A trisuit can be annoying in the pool if you are not used to them. Also, shorts allow you to modify your top based on the weather, a trisuit does not
