Straight up or laid back?

Hi everyone,

Last year I had a bike fit done. The shop suggested there was too much lay back on the seatpost and thus I reduced my stem length from 110mm to 90mm.

This bike has now been reduced to winter use as I am building a carbon framed Orbea. As such I am needing a new seatpost. Can anyone offer advice as to whether straight up or laid back is best? How would I find out, seeing as all I've used is laid bike on said winter bike?

Unfortunately, the seatpost size is unusual, 26.6mm, so I'd be (a very) reluctant (Yorkshireman) to try and source one type when I need the other all along.

Many thanks, all.
