all about Pace?


I have just started to look at how to train "properly" and read books etc and actually trying to learn what my watch and Garmin actually do. I have a really basic question, how do i know what the pace means. So if I'm running at 7.35 and then it goes up to 8.54 am i getting slower or faster. Does it mean 7.35 miles per hour? i have a feeling that I am completely out on this, so advice would be really good.

    If you went from 7:35 to 8:54 you are getting slower as this refers to minutes per mile i.e. 7 minutes 35 seconds to complete 1 mile.
