I'm a newcomer in Triathlon and wondered if that triathlon in Dover would be a good one to do, although I've read the bike course might be a bit hilly! The good thing is it's an open swim (750m only) so with the use of a wetsuit it shouldn't be too hard.

that's the same date as the (huge!) London Tri, so I think that'll affect numbers. True about the wetsuit tho' - I've just got one (also novice) & can't believe the difference it makes! If you can, it really helps to train on the course, so you know the corners, etc. and have an idea about transitions.
