What a fantastic event. Nearly rained off, swim impossible due to wind and rain making access to the lake virtually impossible, and truly impossible for safety boats to get there. But the course itself. Challenging ++ and dramatic! If you have to place yourself in significant discomfort for several hours, this really is the course to do it on. Need access to a power shower afterwards tho... And thanks to Steve.. the mechanic of the organising team, who spent nearly an hour sorting out my disc brakes. Much appreciated. [:)] If it happens next year... go for it!
