Etape de Tour 2007

The Etape De Tour 2007 has just been published. I can't believe it is on our doorstep. It starts at Foix to Loudenvielle going over the Col De Port, Col de Portet d'Aspet, Col de Mente and then the Port de Bales and Col de Peyresourde. This is a fantastic route and I will be waiting at the newsagents for the Velo magazine to come out.

    I'm going to get my application in this week as I heard It fills up pretty quick.

    Not sure if I really understand what I've let myself in for, but it looks like an adventure none the less.

    125 miles of steep mountain roads is going ( i think 4000m of climbing ? ) is going to need some serious training and investment of a much comfier saddle haha

    How are you getting your entry. I am waiting for the Velo magazine in January and hoping to get myself and my daughter in but I have heard it is not guaranteed.

    I rode the stage on Tuesday (just recovered to be able to write ;)). Very tough course and in the summer it will be very hot.

    I read in a magazine during the summer that UK Racing are running an Etape for the London to Canterbury leg. Anyone heard of any details regarding this?
