Ready to spend the cash in a winter sale and now have big dilemma!
I have done some hunting and these bikes are on offer at reputable companies, the nearest though is about 60- miles away.
I know that all will be a can't fail choice, but I am in my first Ironman this year and also want to do well in a lot of local TT's.
Competed 2 years at Olympic distance on a road bike.
Felt B2 - £1799.99 (top end of my reach money wise)
Giant Trinity Alliance zero - £995
Cannondale Ironman 2 (2006) - £1400
Brand New Planet X - £1000+

More searching and the options now are:
Felt B2 £1799.99
Scott Plasma Pro £1,699.99 (or £2k for 2008 model)
Its a lot of money and I want to benefit from the end of season sales.
I could go for the basic Planet X with a good pair of wheels for c £1,500
Thoughts please?
You need some extra wheels for trainging on though
I thought it would be easier to upgrade the wheels later and trust that Scott don't let me down with the Mavics it comes with.
You never know I may find some money before summer to upgrade?
