Running

I have started running alot more recently, covering more miles and covering them faster [:D] but my knee on my left leg has started hurting; from what I have read on the net it may be 'Runners Knee' but Im hoping it isnt. A possibility of why it may have happened is weak thigh muscles but im sure its not that as I think I have strong legs. So im thinking it may be my running style, does anyone know where in central (ish) london to get my running style tested and possibly getting decent new running shoes?

Thanks

Found somewhere... checking it out tomorrow.

  • If you've increased mileage it could be that you're illiotibialband (ITB) , has tightened, that is if you're pain is on the outside of your knee... in that case a good sports massage and some stretches for the ITB could help... after saying that, getting you're foot posture checked out every now and then is always a good idea!!

    Hope you get better soon
