Eating during the ironman

Hi,
I am doing ironman France in June. I don' t think my stomach will tollerate a diet of power bars for the day. I was recently training in France and I stopped in a town and had a nice pasta dish. I felt all the better for it and felt great after the cycle. While I am not looking for a record breaking time, I don't think I will be stopping for some pasta and a glass of chianti on the day.
Can anyone offers ideas of what could be eaten mid way thorugh the bike leg. I feel I need something normal and substantial.
Suggestions for breakfast would be good too. I currently have porridge with banana's and honey and some scrambled eggs with toast. I guess I am not showing myself to be at the forefront of triathlon nutrition.
Thanks in advance for any advice.

Theres been a number of chats about this already - my suggestion would be porridge for brekkie and raspberry jam sandwiches for the bike leg (i find wholemeal bread best - think the blend of sugars and longer chain carbs work well)
best of luck!
