The Paras 10 mile race

Thanks 220 for advertising the Paras 10 mile race that took place last Sunday - It was the best ever running event I ever did. Brilliant organisation, marshalls everywhere, mile markers, great water stations, and a fantastic finish on soft grass that really gave you time to enjoy it!

Is anybody aware of other military type races taking place?

    I did it too. Great fun. Will probably try the Bergen version next year - although I really enjoyed the running. It was very well organised - the course was very enjoyable - mainly trail, with some interesting hills. Including one you had to walk up. My only criticism, and a slight one, was the lack of "elite" athletes - so I finished much further up the field that I expected.
