Aero Wheels

Comments

  • The Halos get good reviews and they make bullet proof off road wheels.

Might be worth shopping around though as the eBay price is only a couple of quid off the RRP.

The fulcrums are used on the Focus Cayo range. Personally I think the Fulcrum Racing range are excellent.

Any other recommendations for cheap aero wheels?

FRM do a semi aero wheel. Very light and very high quality. I have a set and reccommend them. Note they are not full on aeros, but may be better than very heavy cheap aeros.

The reason why aero wheels are so expensive is that aero = large surface area which means more material which means more weight which means slow wheels. the good wheels are aero with minimum weight (& slowness) penalty

    Hi there,

Have a look at the link below:

These wheels are excellent aero, flat bladed spokes make them even faster, with assured braking on the alloy section in all conditions. Clinchers so easy to fix inner tubes and even great for climbing as they are stiff.

They are for sale in the `for sale` section, £500 ono

    Im open to offers

    Thanks

    Stephen
