club advice for new guy in north west

Hi All



Being a newbie to the world of triathlon (1 sprint) I'm looking to join a club. Obviously to improve but also for the social aspect.

Can anyone suggest a club on Merseyside or surrounding areas,with a broad spectrum of ages (i'm 41) and abilities (i'm slow but keen [:D])

    Bit of a trek, but manchester has a good couple of hundred members and good sessions



    But have a look on british triathlon website, there will be a list of all the tri clubs in the country, seem to remember you can do a search with your post code...

    220 used to run a list of clubs around the country.

    Thanks for the replies lads,

    I checked out 220 and i'm going to give ashurst bike club a visit, they seem to have a very structured training programme on the go,and they're the nearest to me[:D], but i will give merseytri a visit too.
