Ergo heart Rates

I had been told that your heart rate work on the ergo (windtrainer) will be around 10% lower than you can achieve on the road. I can not see how this is so....any thoughts

No pun intended..but no wind resistance, different means of resistance than road friction, topography or lack of...etc.

Quite right the sanitised conditions of the gym/garage is easier than the reality of the road

Mind you, there may be more cardiac drift due to increased sweating with less wind cooling leading to lower blood volume & slight dehydration possibly.

I have found that even though i feel like i am slaving away, I just seem to get the Hreats to the levels required. I was wondering if i was just bludging or there was some thing in the Myth
