Young people training and eating

Hi I wondering your opinion on how much a 16/17yr old triathlete should be training during the base and build period should I am many looking at doing sprints and Olympic distance till I am about 18 when I may do some ½ iron man distances? I am also wondering how much you eat when you are training about 2-3hrs a day as I a I often eat to full and am still hungry after about 1hr and don't seem to be able to fill my self up is this normal?

Cheers Andy [/align]

At 16-17 you are approaching physical maturity in a basic sense, but there is still more growing to do, which probably explains your hunger, I should look at your diet & work out the protein/carb (slow non sugary carb)/fat ratio. always refuel as soon as possible after training, ensure hydartion as well.
