Heart rate zones?

I have done the london and blenheim tris for last two years with sporadic training for each. This year i have decided to try and be more consistent in my off season base training.

I have read a lot in 220 regarding heart rate zones. Could anyone give me advice on how to calculate my zones and which zones i should be training in to improve my overall fitness/times.



It would be much appreciated.
