aero bars: top or botom

In essence there really isnt that much difference, is all to do with personal preference, though ones that sit below the bar will allow you in get the bars in a slightly lower position (more aerodynamic) without having to drop the height of you original bars

Could anyone let me know the difference/advantage/usage between clip-on aero bars that either sit on top of the handle bars or are held under the handle bars. I'm buying a pair soon as, so any recommendations would be helpful.

    Cheers,

It does not really matter, but what does matter is which is better for you. Best to get out there and (1.) do research and (2.) experiment to find out what's best for you. Remember when you find a position that you want to use then train on it for months before the big event. Personally I use an agressive position but initially it's very uncomfortable - but fast and it takes me several weeks to get used to it, and you have to be prepared to change it if better kit/data/etc becomes available
