long ride nutrition

Hi

I was wondering what people think about wheather you should always eat/ drink energy drinks during long enduracne ride(3-4hrs) and if so how much, i am trying to maintain my weight so i want to making up all the kcal i will have burnt.

I can often do a long ride with out eating anything and feel ok but often get very hungary latter would eating during prevent this evening hunger?

    I usually aim for about one bottle of SiS GO an hour when out on long rides, plus a gel/bar every hour to help boost the carb intake. If you have this and then a decent recovery drink, such as REGO or some of the homemade ones they had in 220 a couple of months ago, this should help keep your energy intake in line and keep the hunger at bay after!
