HR Zones

Can anyone give me a quick answer (or direct me to a previous thread . . . if its been covered, sorry)!



HR zones...constantly see in 220...."20 mins in zone 2"...what defines these zones?

    Is this universally accepted? I thought I'd seen 60-70, 70-80, 80-90 and 90+ quoted?

    It all depends whose training programme you are following



    Joe Friel uses 7 zones

    BCF use 6 zones

    Andrew Coggan uses 5 zones

    Garmin use 5 zones



    Can get very complicated !
