ok. today in a factory outlet, i found a pair of reebok "pump" trainers marked down by a hundred quid. the colors are garish, but i could not resist the price, especially with the recession. the fit as well as my sauconeys , and seemed to suit my gait.
the problem i have is that since it was a factory outlet, none of the {mindless} staff had any idea about the pump and valve system. all mounted on the tongue of the trainer.
how long do i pump them for and will they break if i pump to much?
has anyone any ideas?
cheers john.

As I remember it you pump then till they feel tight enough for the activity you are doing. So when I was skate boarding you let the laces loose and pumped those babies right up. When using for sport it was advised to lace up correctly and pump till you felt your foot would not move ihj them. (not to tight thoigh).
As for over pumping I never managed it and I pumped mine up alot.
I gather technology in the shoes has changed abit as I am talking 1987 when I had some and the pump was shaped like a basketball.
Are they any good for running? Are they boots, Demi Boots or trainers?
de-listed from range. they still do a simillar version though,so they are not that out of date tech wise. i will upload a snap later.
