First timer training days - Dulwich

Anybody else signing up for the 'First Timer Training Days' at Dulwich in April? Or anybody go on a previous one?
Thought I'd give it a go... 42 quid though, but might ease my nerves a little especially regarding the start of the swim. Are they really as bad as everyone makes out?

I'm hoping it's not going to just be 'This is a pool, you swim in it. This is a bike, you ride it...'. I've signed up for the saturday, hoping to overcome a few fears.
