You eat them! Most popularly received as a gift at Christmas from people that a) Don't know you're an athlete b) Think (righly or wrongly) that you have children or (c) Are athletes themselves and were given them themselves by (a) or (b) above.

Comanighttrains comment above not approaching him if you've urinated yourself....... was an attempt at humour which obviously went wrong!!!

  • Cheryl6162Cheryl6162 Posts: 356
Nothing like a bit of smut to idle away an afternoon when I should be working! Their fault for giving me a computer......
  • pacman2102pacman2102 Posts: 247
I like a bit of smut, but not sure if they will ban us if we do that on the forum. their a lot of smut you can link to tri and you can a long way on that but I don't want to offend to much
  • Cheryl6162Cheryl6162 Posts: 356
Probably wise my friend, probably wise.........
  • I wouldnt worry about it, i think everyone here is too easy going to get offended easily . . . So far i have covered sex, urination, producing fecal matter and also proclaimed i hated everyone. I also demand pictures everytime anyone mentions anything.

I think that everyone on here manages to give proper thought to all of the above topics. we're all so busy trying to out-do each other with the banter it takes the focus off the rude threads!

Ey Cheryl, we are pure of thought indeed, and after proclaiming ourselves well and truly up for a bit of flirting (and considering we are all absolute stunners, naturally), exactly how many people might turn up in dorset on the day to cheer us on? three? none? your son...? hahahaha.

And how come I'm a dorset woman now when i so obviously hail from cornwall? will this mean i have to move or may i be an honorary dorset woman? Hmmm....Jesster, DW (Hons.)

has a certain ring to it.

  • Cheryl6162Cheryl6162 Posts: 356
Being an honorary Dorset woman will make you go just that little bit faster.....

My son will certainly be there cheering us on (or more likely falling about laughing at me!) his turn to be chef d'equipe as I usually do it for him. I am looking at the costs involved in renting a crowd to cheer us on and say things like 'flippin eck, look at em go....' and 'I wish I was as fast as that!' (from Conehead).

....and shouldn't that be Hayle from cornwall?????

Im there as The dorset/ honorary dorset girls supporter.Awake or not at that time in the morning.Who knows, if i can find a bike to replace the one i have had stolen from me i may even be your competition!!! If not then maybe i will bring my ironman buddy as back up!
  • BexHBexH Posts: 226
Ha, I'm glad that there is going to be some support then! There is no way in hell that I'll get any of my mates/family to get up that early to watch and I will barely be awake myself!!! My sister was keen to come along with her husband and kids til I said what time the reg was!

And Jess- Dorset/Devon/Cornwall; same radius roughly so why not! Seeing as this is a triathlon 'romance' topic; been on any dates recently??? Do tell... I've given up on my interest; too much like hard work lol [:(]

I'm going to have enough trouble doing the cycle and run without having to negotiate Coneheads scattered freebies / empty gel pouches on the route ha ha

Well there is a certain bummie triathlete friend of mine coming down tonight for a weekend of (small wave, this weekend!) surfing.

He will be accompanying me to a posh works do at the eden project on saturday night where i intend to be resplendent in dress and heels (no lycra!)

He is really quite hansome, bex.

does this count as a date?! hmmmm.....probably not.

Depends if he comments on your smiley face [;)]
  • BexHBexH Posts: 226
Hmm, I don't see why not if he's single! I'm guessing that the event has happened by now so do fill us in! I went to a ball (horsy stuff) on Friday and was paired up with someone by a friend- according to him we are getting married and our names sound 'good together' ha ha. He spent the evening saying to people 'don't you think Bex and I make a great couple?!' and has phoned me several times since.... hmm- not tri romance but he is a regular gym goer so we'll see!
  • Yes Jess you are a Dorset girl - the whole South West pennisula kind of intermingles...

I think I'm decending into acronyms - South West Outdoor Totty team??

Anyway this Dorset girly is now a single Dorset girly - hence I'm joining the romance thread!

Bring on the fit men in lycra!

  • Cheryl6162Cheryl6162 Posts: 356
Friksticks JB! That was a bit sudden wasn't it? Still never mind, the more rampaging, hormonal, uber fit(!) Dorset girls the better as it will keep us training all the harder trying to outrun each other to reach the best lycra clad bloke first!

Respect to BexH - you go girl!

and Jesster, you are just a tiger!
