    I think the idea behind that was to warm up pre-ride. Used to t=do the same thing, years ago, before playing rugby.



    Your better off warming up naturaly, ie jogging etc.....



    It also used to be "en-vogue" to dress like this..............

    A few years ago I did a lot of road racing, and it was very 'fashionable' to apply Deep Heat muscle rub before a race. I am a newbie to the triathlon world after several years of just gym activity and wondered if this is still 'en vogue'? [8D]
