Super User or permanent Admin?

I see the semi-literate scum are back, attempting to peddle their dubious goods to the disinterested forum members.

Should we see if 220 are willing to give some forum members admin rights, since they don't moderate the forum themselves, and the change to the registration process for new accounts obviously hasn't had much of an impact.

It's disheartening to see the forum full of spurious adverts for trainers and clothing. Can we get rid of these jokers once and for all? [>:]

I agree whole heartedly - particularly given that it is the same 'users' who post it all. I don't see why admin don't just delete their profile account etc.

I was actually wondering where Benny was ... I vote Benny for admin.

These spammers are doing my head in. Totally ruining the forum. I'm sure I read in a prev issue of 220 that they were changing the web-site.... Please hurry up then and give some of us admin rights.

Unfortunately its been tried, I asked about it last year when the problem got really bad. They didn't say no, despite me having asked directly, but they removed the spammers.

...me too TommiTri. I volunteered as an admin (without forum creation rights etc) but suggested the ability to delete/edit offensive posts, remove users, and also to lock topics or make them sticky.

    Quick as a flash... nothing.

Hold on though, judging by recent editions of the mag my request will soon appear on the 'Letters' page attributed to William Williamson of Willoughby.

Haven't been on here a lot in the last month. The policy of 220 on topics like spam and having us as ghost-writers for their mag(without mentioning it, even changing our names) is bugging me a bit.

But since no one on the forum can do anything about that, I decided I can't stay away from here.

Wow; so much love in the air ....... if it weren't for those PIKEY SPAMMERS[:@]
