Garmin 101 = Good buy?

So it seems that if i want good advice this is the place to ask?



Thinking of buying a Garmin 101 GPS to help monitor my running and hopefully improve at the same time?



Just wanted to know if anyone else has one and what there opinions are on them?

    sorry, haven't got one! but the 50 is ok at heart rate monitoring and you can download your workout data to your pc [:D]

    I can second Gary on the Garmin 50-I use it with the foot pod to measure speed and distance when running and have found it to be great. Also-a friend bought the heart rate monitor and watch together from an e-bay shop for £30 last week-which is a great deal (although the watch and foot pod that I bought cost £60-still much cheeper than a polar equivalent).
