Anyone racing 3 Spires on Sunday?

I was very tempted to get stuck in to this one (when i got back home on Sunday) but i came to my senses and opted to train properly for my next in four week time. I don't think racing back to back weekends is in my best interests at home either!

May the force be with you.

Indeed I am, final topping up of tan & application of hair products (waterproof of course) now in process..I think I am ready.

With the good Lady Britspin there to steady my resolve what could go wrong?

    mmmm....

....might this be very first ever '220 forum buddies' triathlon?

so......if a 'Training Day' attendee wanted to claim his £5 off entry, just how might that happen?

I am easy to spot too...tall, just about the right amount of muscle to please the laydeez, slightly too tanned in a painted on way, waaaay too much hair gel on & a couple of moari style tattoos on my arms.

Actually not, shaven head, BRATclub kit, skinny & probably late on poolside, off at 10.15, oh & pasty white skin.

Black Bomber is a particularly splendid cheddar, made in Snowdonia that co-incidentally I first tasted at last years Barton Marina Sprint..an open water Chaserace event...spooky or what?

Just this second signed up! Simon reckons a start time of about 10am for my 00:07:30 swim time estimate. I shall be sporting an original '220 forum buddies' white T. As will Mr. Burrows i believe.

Spoke to Simon.. I'll have a start around 10.00-10.30 (ish) nice and vague, that way I can pretend I started after everyone... luckily I'm subtle and will blend into the masses :)

First post just to say what a pleasure it was to meet and greet fellow forum folk. Britspin, the Soreen pic doesn't do you justice mate, you're fit (in a totally heterosexual way)! And a personality to match. Dazza (conehead) the dark demon was providing last minute coaching, Bathtub paid his respects after spotting the now, highly sort after '220 buddies t's' and Scotty was the only triathlete there that registered (and raced) with pink hair.

    Great to meet you all.
