Steve - A word to the wise! Dont try any other than orginal soreen!

I have just bought and tried the new rich and fruity one. Its pup compared to the orginal brown bar of pleasure.

An yes is the answer to your questions!

In the supermarket this week I saw snack sized packs of pre-buttered soreen slices for the very very lazy.

I have recently come to the belief that Morrisions own (Malty - not the super cheap type) malt loaf is actually marginally better than the original.

I imagine I will now be stoned for blasphemy!!

can you get this in ireland?

is it just a good quality malt loaf, or an actual brand?

It is more a religion than just a brand.

So you might not be able to get it in Ireland.

I've seen it in the north, not sure about the south though. It is a brand - looks like this

Someone mentioned another brand of malt loaf on this thread. They also mentioned stoneing to death. I wouldnt waste my stones when I could use cheap malt loaf to loaf them to death!

Just had one of the pre-buttered Soreen packs - not bad if you're in malt loaf withdrawal, but prefer my own thick slices and thin spread of Bertolli. Plus it costs 2p more than a whole unsliced loaf. Soreen obviously aren't passing on the ill-gotten savings from sweatshop buttering factories to us, the loyal consumer.
