  The infamous Queen K Highway stretches south as far as I can see, warm tyres feel like they're sticking to hot tarmac.  Nothing but desolate barren lava fields to the left, pacific ocean to the right just out of camera shot.

  If you zoom in a little, squint quite a lot and try to focus right down at the far end of the road, where the horizon dips a little, you might - just might - see a guy in a forum t-shirt
