    Good luck fella!

I'll definitely be checking that out. Doing the Sussex Tri tomorrow myself, so will be looking for some inspiration, although feeling a bit more confident now after sorting out transitions. Been practising hard since rookie 1.

Mantas and dolphins should make the swim a bit interesting for you guys anyway. Looks like a class spot to be in a race though. Should be stunning - you'll have a ball I'm sure. Have a good one and mind the bears.

    Go Team Roberts!

Well done - great effort and what a venue! Oh well must get off - 9am wave for the Westonbirt Sprint....doesn't really have the same ring to it as Kona...

stayed with you till the run then 'hit the wall' and went to bed!

great result mate, times don't really matter do they? Its how you compare to the competition that is a true measure because it takes the days conditions into account........and your results are bloody good given the competition.

can't wait for the report, give my regards to the BB.

P.S. Had a great OW swim myself yesterday thanks to the training day :)

57 in age group is fantsatic! congrats mr conehead. i suspect the heat was melting your shoes to the road which slowed your run down.

  • garyrobertsgaryroberts Posts: 869
i for one would be delighted with that run time!

    A slow run time !!

In the heat of Hawaii !!

You are too modest, that was a bloody good time in an oven..

Plus to come 57th in AG is awsome !! (sorry to use that word but I just felt that it described the result)

I just hope that I can get anywhere near those times when I jump up to 70.3 next year.

    Again well done.

The modesty of this guy! Great result if you ask me. Was watching the progress on the interweb, and was wondering how those times compared with others in the field. 57th in the AG is something to be mighty blimmin proud of, esp when you're coming from the north of England and totally out your normal training conditions. Well done mate - you did yourself proud.
