Mine was the E2-10 course at Newmarket.... Very fast course! Down the A11 dual carriageway which can get a little hairy at times..

I had some Army Landrover Defenders towing some kit try overtake me on the way back and they couldnt make any ground on me haha so they were drafting me!!! I was on the 11-tooth on the cassette all the way back. It can be windy on there though... hence the average of over 30mph....my average on the way out was a lot less around 23. something....

Michael Hutchinson won in a time of just over 18 mins!!! That man is seriously quick for a little guy.... bet he cant run a sub 17k 5k off that though.... so Id catch him on that i think ..... Just...lol:)

He has a very funny column in Cycling Weekly though - so he has very quick wits to go with the cycling. I can forgive him for not being able to do a sub 15 min 5k. He's also got a few years on you too!

Dr hutch's records - bloody hell!!!!

Honours Cycling Time Trials (CTT) National Championships Michael's 33 CTT titles is a men's record ahead of Ian Cammish's 23. The only rider to win more is Beryl Burton with 97.

The sequence of 9 consecutive 50 titles is also a men's record for any title (Beryl Burton won 25 consecutive BBAR titles).

And its the 25 Mile TT Championship this weekend. I've checked the start list, and no "hussler" on it [:(].

Dr H. is favourite of course.

I've not got a modern PB for 10TT - hoping to do one (bound to a PB as it will be the first) on 16th June - assuming I don't get booked out for work. Unfortunately, I've no recollection of what I did back in 1978-80. I remember it was less than 30 minutes though....

there was something on the planet-x website about huthinson not willing to do some of the old skool time trails. It would be interesting to c th time difference between th modern tt machines and th bikes with flat alloy rims and no aero advantages. I think that i could easiy knock two minutes of my pb if i did it on a flat course that has a decent surface and if i had a proper bike too.

My 10's are not great usually 21 - 22mins, but I regularly break the hour for the 25

Jack - No entry from me unfortunately, Ill let Hutch win this one....lol:)

Im racing Bala middle, Dambuster, FGS Sprint, Cleveland Steelman Middle on consecutive weekends followed by our RAF Sprint Championships 4 days after Cleveland... So im quite busy this month haha

Anyone breaking the hour for 25 is doing well:) especially when they are triathletes too....

Keep up the good work guys:)
