Best swim/run yet

Went along to a swim training session with the local triathlon club last night and did the best swim training i have done since about 10 years ago. The seeion went a bit like this:



Warm up

3 x 200m drills



Main set

10 x 100m set with 15 secs rest



1 mins rest

6 x 33m 100% pace with 1 mins rest between



Cool down

3 x 200m drills



I managed to stay in the top 2/3 in the fastest lane and really enjoyed it.



I planned to do a quick 5k run this morning but wasnt sure how much energy I had left in the tank when I hauled my ass out of bed, but surprised myself and had a great quick run!



I was so pleased after a tough session last night. Was chatting to a few of them and 3 of the guys from the club have qualified for the europeans and one lady for the worlds! think i might join.....
