Vive le tour

Whoopee, TdF coverage just started. So...

1) Who will win?
2) Where will Lance come?
3) How many stages will Cav win?

Not too sure on any if the above. But I do wish they would spend a section just letting us view the TT and road bikes in detail.

did the TV coverage show Andy Schleck finish? Or did I just miss it? The commentators were talking him up as a potential trial winner - and he seemed to drop off the radar completely!

    1.Hopefully the war on Drugs
2.If he doesn't crash out and withdraw, 8th.
3.4 and green if he finishes.

Interesting quote on the tv coverage. ''There were 3 times as many spectators at Monaco for the cycling than there was for the F1 GP.''
So cycling now mainstream and F1 now a third rate sport with hardly any tv coverage(in my dreams).

Tdf free at roadside....20k of roadside, F1 V expensive to watch at roadside..5k? of roadside plus F1 millionaires sport, hi profile, loadsamoney & cycling comparatively cheap, 'normal' people watching, ride there, camp there etc...but still an impressive statistic.

Sure was some pure bike porn going on in those TT's though, if only they had a spare one......
