Tri or cricket?

What's the verdict - I've just entered for the Northwest Tri on the 20th September and have only now remembered that we've got tickets to see the one day match between England and the Aussies on the same day............. doh

Do I withdraw from the tri or bank on it raining and forget seeing the Ashes holders beat the Aussies?

Do the Tri - as it's bound to be raining, at least you can do something worthwhile
  • id go seen the cricket...maybe start a riot...

Pointless oneday rubbish - one of seven onedayers. Bin it and do the tri.

Now if you had a ticket to the Ashes, that would be different.

Ahh, well we do have tickets to a day at Headingly test as it happens - certainly won't be binning that!

And now my boss wants me to go away to Oxford for the weekend 1/2 August which is the date of my only other tri for this year

What do you think, can I do a 24 hour shift on the Saturday and still do a sprint on the Sunday at the other end of the country?
