Opinions on bike needed

Hi, I am relatively new to tri and am splashing out on a tri bike, I need opinions on which one, I have a favourite but would love to hear from people who know far more about it than me.

Choices are...

'09 Kuota
K-Factor SL Ultegra SL
http://tribonzai.com/itemdetails.cfm?LibId=52325

Kuota
K-Factor SL Force http://villagecyclesport.com/itemdetail ... ibId=52043

Trek equinox TTX 9.0

or the FELT racing B16

would love to hear opinions, thanks.

Uncanny - the bikes I was thinking about as a next upgrade

I would tend to the Orbea for some reason I cannot explain. I understand it used to be the Ordu until the new Ordu came along and has a fantastic rep as long as you don't plan to ride it at less than 15mph when apparently it then lets you know what the road surface is like but above that it is reputed to be swift and sure footed.

I do however defer to anyone that has ridden said machines.

How about Planet-X stealth or Cannondale slice or Scott Plasma, ALL very capable bikes with tip top frames ripe for eventual upgrades,

If I were to choose a bike from your list it would be out of the Felt or the Orbea. Ridden the Felt, VERY fast and fairly comfy (for a TT bike). But the Orbea is also a very capable and popular bike. I think if you are spending this kind of money on a bike you absolutely MUST try it out first, once you've ridden your shortlist of bikes then you'll know which one suits you best.

Thanks guys, the thing is I am getting it collected from the states so won't be able to try it out beforehand I am kind of leaning towards the Orbea myself. Was just looking for a general consensus beforehand.

Spending that kind of money you need to try them out. Get to a bike shop and try them. Otherwise it's just plain lucky if it's comfortable and fits.

Thanks conehead, I live in Ireland though, I have found a trek equinox at $900 dollars and the price of bikes here are what they are in $, so it's a good deal for me.
