Interested in Training from a structrual view

Hi guys

My name is Karl and i run a small Health & Fitness business in Preston covering aspects of Posture Training, Strength & Conditioning , Lifestyle Coaching , Nutrition , Sports Therapy and specialise in coaching for multi-sport guys like yourself.

Alot of athletes i find still don't realise the importance of training the body from a structrual point of view, ie a forward head posture from hours sat at a computer station can cause an inverted breathing patern meaning you may be breathing into your chest to much or at the very worst your neck when you should be breathing into your abdomen incorprorating the full use of your diaphragm or perhaps a quad dominance hindering the correct glute firing when in the pedal stroke.

These and many other topics are covered in my 1 to 1 coaching programs, if your interested and want to learn more you can go to my web-site

www.getinvolvedfitness.com

Take a look , feel free to contact me there with any questions regarding the services or topics dicussed there, I look forward to chatting with you soon

Warm regards
Karl

I had a quick look at the site, it's quite un-user friendly, there is some free stuff, but I couldn't see anything groundbreaking.

At the end of the day, as has been said, he's come in, only one post to sell his business, no other comments or chat....so it's spam, and all spam should be deleted. IMHO

    Beware the Cheks................delete them.
  • To be clear I don't care a jot if you do delete it... It looks an awful lot like spam to me. But at least it is triathlon related spam. If it was my call I would leave it where it is, if the guy has a genuine interest in CONTRIBUTING to the forum (rather than just hawking his wares) then I'm sure people will happily welcome his input, but if he continues to try and sell stuff then get rid of him. If he never comes back then the message will just sink off the bottom of page one and into obscurity.
  • he would be back defending by now if he were serial.
  • ooo it turns me on when you get all alpha male conehead

He quotes the Chek on the website............... Shame on him!

We should all be pulling, twisting and pushing like our pre-historic ancestors............or as I like to think of it - just be Conehead!!!

Pulling and pushin like our ancestors.... have we changed that much..... nothing beats a good pull

    Even better is the pushing.....

I'll leave the post on there for the mom unless the collective gang-up suggests otherwise....I'll take it off in the morning!!!

and lo, he did wield his powers on behalf of the collective good.

and the unrighteous trembled as he toyed with their very existence in the cyber world before unleashing the force of his omnipotence and banishing them forever.

and he looked at the forum, and he saw that it was good

    I'd say keep the post.

Yes, it is in poor taste, but once you start creating policy, then you need some set firm criteria or otherwise things get tricky. One man's spam is another's useful and informative bit of text.

It's quite clear from our responses that it isn't that good a service. Which is probably quite useful to someone randomly hitting the thread via google.

We've also had the guy from TI UK creating an account, and just posting a couple of comments - mainly because something I had written had hit one of his "google alerts". All he was doing really was pimping his wares (or defending his brand's reputation, if I was being a bit more charitable).

If it's random 'bot type spam with no connection to tri, (i.e. china webspam) then delete it. If it is something unique, carefully crafted for this site, then best to let it go - but post appropriate responses. Otherwise it's a slippery slope to full on moderation. Which creates all manner of conflict.

registering, logging in and posting something that you're selling (whether its triathlon related or trainers made in a sweat shop in china) - is SPAM, as sure as kindnike and bikini's to feel sexful in.

    Or am I being harsh?
