Focus Cayo vs Boardman Team Carbon...

looknig at the two specs and it appears they are comparable - both a grand, both carbon frame and forks. cayo is a little heavier but other than that it is the components SRAM Rival vs Shimano 105. Which is the better set?

    I have the Boardman and very happy.

    Spoke to a chap at a very reliable bike shop and they said they could not match the boardman spec for the price.

    The cycling press i have read rate SRAM Rival spec higher than 105 and more towards Ultegra.

    For Boardman you can at east speak to someone and negotiate expect at least a 10% discount for being part of a club or for at least asking.

    Focus is only by Wiggle so you'll have to hope for a voucher from someone to get a discount.

    Hadn't thought about the discount possibilities!!!

    what if we expand the search to the best sub £1000 bike [pre discount]?
