So just bought myself a secondhand aero set-up, and from what I can see it all looks straightforward. But I'm mystified by two holes in the side of the bullhorn bars (ie where the brakes go). They don't seem to be for the cable to go in, as it's internal cabling - can anyone shed any light?

Your mystifed with holes at your age...... tut tut.... I'd have thought you'd learned after the fratanising on the train
