Bike Position/Geometry

Posted this in the training forum but thought it might get more traffic here...

I have decided to open myself up to ridicule and invite constructive comment on my position and geometry on the bike by posting some video of me on the turbo here :

    i'm no expert on the matter but, when the crancks lie in the vertical your leg isn't extending enough. This would suggest that the saddle is a bit too low and it also explains why you bounce around a bit. Although wait for others to post what they think

    I agree with apan790, you don't look as if you are extending enough, when I looked at the footage I also saw this:

  • Thanks for the help chaps. I have adjusted the seat hight a little and moved the seat forward to have knee over pedal axis when cranks horizontal - this feels a bit better and interestingly seems to have taken a bit of pressure off a niggly knee pain. So...all the insight appreciated and still welcome.
