Going to buy myself a birthday present and treat for completing my first OD at the Mazda Lodnon last weekend.

Which bike should I get?

Fuji Team Pro 2009 Road Bike or Trek Madone 5.2 Compact 2009??

    Can you test ride both? I was torn between a Spec Tarmac and the Madone 5.2, ended up getting the Madone 5.2 pro earlier this year. I liked the feel of the road on the Trek, very good feel, plenty of response but I could be comfortable after 4 hours in the saddle. The shorter head tube on the Pro geometry was much comfier for me than the standard frame.

    However, the geometry is quite different between the two it seems. The Fuji is more for the long of leg and short torso while the Trek seemed longer for the same stack height. You probably wouldn't be an ideal fit on both, so if you're equally in love with both, then let the geometry decide.

    Spec is quite similar - Ultega vs Ultegra SL. Wheels are comparable. I thought the technology in the Trek bike frame was really impressive.
