Look at the post by NU_nutrition_TS - he read the actual study.

Phew, never did like beetroot.
Still I think there's other research out there about nitrate loading, or was it phosphate loading...argh, need to dig all my stuff out now.

throw it up if you find it - im always up for trying crazy things in my diet!
right now im doing GOMAD to get my weight up. 8 refreshing 500ml glasses of milk a day.

plan a cycle route past some cows and learn how to get it yourself!

warm milk though - you'll fall asleep on the ride home! Unless the farmer chasing you with a gun wakes you up enough
