The relays was an awesome event! (Helped by glorious weather)

I volunteered in the morning and raced in the afternoon, by which time there was a little breeze.

Volunteering gave me the chance to shamelessly indulge my carbon porn habit, before my wife turned up in the afternoon. Hmmmmmm there was some dirrrrrty carbon sexyness on show.

Good day out racing there again..... I raced in the afternoon in the mens event. Our team wasnt upto much but we all had a good day out!

I had a right battle with one of the Elites on the run... our teams last legs! we ran probably around half the lap together slowly winding the pace up. We started at 6:09 miling slowly crept upto 5:20 coming down the home straight at the ambulance park then by the time we were approaching the area where the run change over came we were doing 4:33 miling.... with 100m to go the Elite, whose name escapes me at the mo, had the edge and beat me by about 10m! Good run:)

The Argon and I were pleased with our bike split until we saw the time.....20:09!! bugger, I so wanted that sub 20! never mind. Oh and I got to test the new EROX Cell Air wetsuit!! although a little big it is a big thumbs up so far. I am just waiting to get hold of the next size down to see if that fits any better.
