Bike fitting/position - help required...

Does anyone know of a good place I can take my bike and me to get fitted correctly and tri bars added too? I am currently struggling at the moment (apart from the fact my seat is slighty wonky after a fall) I don't need a new bike, but think my position needs sorting...I am based in St Albans, Herts but work in Uxbridge...so anywhere in/around these areas would be great (am sure someone mentioned Ealing before but I cant' find the post)..oh and that doesn't cost a fortune would be ideal!

Help will be much appreciated...

    Joolz,

Your only about 1hr 30 from Cannock. Most/ some of the guys/ gals have been to Bridgetown cycle to have their bike woes fixed. I travelled for 4hrs to get a bike from him.

Mike's very accomodating and I would certainly recommend going to him as you know he will give you good service and good advice. In terms of cost, I would give him a call. Honestly the guy is star.

    Hi Joolz,

The bike whisperer is in Ealing.

Although I havent used them personally, i've heard good things and will probably make a visit to fit my new bike
  • Hmm, not sure about a 3 hr round trip for a bike fitting, I would use (if I were you) Triathlon-Zone in St Albans, I have a friend who is sponsered by them and they are very good indeed (and local to you).
  • I am off to bridgetown again in 4 - 6 weeks so if that suits yo then your more than welcome to jump in with me mate and I'll drive.

Got the new bike - just need some new kit now!!!

can't wait to see a pic of the bike Ben. Keep us posted.
  • There is a bike shop in Ruislip which is only down the road - I think they do bike fitting. I usually go there as is closest and I'm based in Uxb. It is called Action Bikes although think it might of changed to a Specialised concept store now.

    They have a website
