Winter Training

So this is my first time going into winter training and have had tonnes of advice about cross training and getting away from the usual swim, cycle, run.

So today I took myself out for a 14k fell run - 60mph wind and some rain - it was awsome! Definately going to keep it up and maybe even go for some mountain biking next!

Whats everyone else doing over winter?

Got a monthly 10k series in regents park and swimming lessons through to christmas.

Not sure about early 2010 - maybe a few trail runs (non-competitive) to keep the motivation up during the dark days.

Nice one I was the same done 13 mile trail run this morning in the wind and rain! awesome, forgot how rubbish camelbak water tasted!!
I'm hitting the kettle bells and boxing alongside body weight exercise for my regular training and surfing and mtb every chance I get! the tri suit, wetsuit and bike have already been tucked up for winter!

    good luck for next season
