Anyone know a bike brand called "CHAMPION"??

Hi

I'm trying to purchase a road bike, I'm new so I don't know much about bikes, but I've came across this bike called CHAMPION BIKES MONT VENTOUX, heres a link

Any of you know this is a good bike or not??

    Chris, it looks like a basic introduction bike. If I were you I would go to a bike shop which will give you more options and a better price also. Bikes are like shoes, they have to fit you or you will suffer. If you do want to go down the mail order route then wiggle, evanscycles or someone as reputable is the answer. If and when you get the bug and you start to put up big miles on the bike you need something reliable and personally I don't see it with this bike. Spend the extra few bob and invest wisely.

    Totally agree with the above comments.



    It does look like an entry level bike (nothing wrong with that) but 350 quid seems alot of money for the spec.



    That kind of money can get you better spec new bikes in the sales or far better second hand bikes.



    Id look about in the Jan sales[:)]
