bugger!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

got off to a cracking start in my first real off season of training, proper 4 weeks prep, great Base 1 phase, pushing onto base 2, bike fitting done and swim lessons.......now just been told gotta have a couple of toes operated on which will mean pins poking out the top for 4-5 weeks!...b**lox..
trying to think what i can do with one foot in limbo?..any suggestions?..(i will be taking official advice from the medical experts but fancied seeing what others may have done
Thought turbo with different shoe may be possible? I know running out of question for at least 6 weeks...swimming the same....some strength/flexibility work would seem a good idea..

    Erm, stretching and visualisation?
    Swim bench should be ok - five weeks of that will give you enormous shoulders and triceps...!
  • Finding clips of women on youtube in lycra and imagine yourself behind them on the bike?

    a lot of one-leg drills on the bike?
