Does anyone know if there is anywhere/clubs that meet to train in open water in or around the west midlands?
I am fairly new to triathlon and so don't have a great deal of experience swimming in open water.
Cheers

Bosworth Water Park near Nuneaton is open for open water swimming from May until September
Saturday AM 7 - 9
Thursday evening 6.30 pm - 8.30 pm
I think i've got the times correct .
There's also Barton Marina near Burton-On-Trent, but I'm not sure what's going on there for OW swimming training; Meynell Valley Hunters ran it last year on Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings, but it's been mentioned that they're not this year?
Might also be worth getting in contact with BRAT (Birmingham Running And Triathlon) to find other West Mids OW swimming venues.
MVH have a new open water swim venue for 2010, I'm sure detail's will be released as soon as everything is finalised.
