Hello everyone, anyone ever done the New Zealand Ironman? I've got a friend who's moving over there and thought I might as well do it while I'm visiting.

You will love the experience and the hospitality!!! NZ is a great triathlon nation and there is a lot of respect for athletes training (especially on the ROADS!!!). Carpe Diem as they say and take advantage of a wonderful opportunity mate.

if you look up KenMac,in the members section of the forum,(about page 12 on the K section),his name is Ken MacClaren,he used to race Pro back in the late 80's early 90's in the UK before emigrating.He runs a publishing company in NZ now.There are links on the members details.
He may be able to help with any questions,he also used to write for 220 as well.
